One of many cichlids native to Lake Malawi in Africa, found along the rocky coastal areas at depths of 10 to 40 metres.

• Feed high-quality flakes and pellets with occasional frozen foods such as brine shrimp and krill, along with live foods such as black-worms and mosquito larvae
• Keep one male with three females per territory
• pH Level: 8.0
• Water Temperature: 25 degrees Celsius
